NON-FICTION

I have successfully coached clients to the completion and publication of non-fiction works on health and finances to name two.

Non-fiction has not only a mind of its own and also a market. There are tools that a writer uses to pitch a concept, design a treatment of the material and pursue a publisher. This is frequently done with great success before the writing of the book itself.

Coaching non-fiction is determined by content more than anything else. The natural format and structure of the book seem to emerge through discussion of the material itself and the aim/vision of the writer.

As a coach, I am concerned about the writer AND the work of non-fiction at the same time. As the writer develops, so does the book.

I cover structure and logical organization of topic to be both understandable and alluring to potential readers. I also analyze rough drafts and the content and form of non-fiction works in progress.
